Every year, commencement speakers across the country try their best to say something original, something inspiring, something memorable. They most often fail. Commencement speeches, as a result, wind up sounding awfully similar, though a few have their moments.

Here, courtesy of the new york times, is a roundup of this spring's commencement addresses. Same old tripe, perhaps, but at least it's fun to see who spoke where.
