U.C. Berkeley has been podcasting and webcasting for awhile now. They've gone the next step recently and you can now watch some 300 hours of their classes online for free - at YouTube.

UC Berkeley Puts Classes on YouTube

Peace and Conflict Studies is one of the university's curriculum programs that you'll find online at YouTube. There are also classes in bioengineering. And some campus events that have been recorded for YouTube. The university has had webcasts available online since 2001.

Joseph Hart at EduResources said this about the new Berkeley YouTube videos:

I sampled lectures from six of the courses and found them to vary greatly in their video quality. Some lectures spend a lot of time on local questions about homework, projects, scheduling and other workaday topics that will be of no interest to outside viewers. The lectures will be of most use, I expect, for teachers from other institutions who want to compare their coverage of a course topic with that of their Berkeley counterparts…
